Sneaky Austin...

Austin has always enjoyed exploring in the pantry---either throwing out all the paper plates he can find or rearranging mommy's stacks of gum. I know some people think it's crazy that I let him dig in there but it keeps in occupied for sometimes MINUTES and really, it's all about the sanity at this point!

Anyway...today he found something HE liked.
and then he climbed onto the chair to enjoy his find.
By the time I turned around, this is what I saw! Just look at that look of anticipation ---is there drool on his chin? :)
(I say this because I can relate, of course)

Later on, I heard a few grunts and then screams of distress. He was trying to climb onto the coffee table (for the zillionth time) and seemed to be stuck. He couldn't figure out how to get down on his own.
So I took a picture, of course!
Then, I helped the little monkey down.

It's all about the cars

I wish I had known that the little cars would be such a huge hit a few months back!
The cars go everywhere with Austin.

In the stroller

In the carseat

Don't make the mistake of leaving home without them---you will be sorry!

Today we played with cars for hours.
We were too tired to sit up, but yet we were still playing with our cars.
Life doesn't get any better than this!!!!!

Finally, a warm day!

I think Austin has a touch of OCD! (Hmmm...wonder where he gets that from?) We are at the park with all our friends where we can hang out on the swings and slides yet Austin preferred to play (alone!) with his beloved cars!!!! He can't leave home without them and needs to check on them often! It's cute though, so I took a picture!

Fortunately the lure of the tetherball drew him away from his cars for a few minutes.

After all that hard work, Austin and his friends needed a snack. Good thing there were enough fruity cheerios for everyone!
